Modeling can be an enjoyable experience, if going into the business properly.
There are so many sites out there that have you pay for auditions or have you pay to get your picture and profile featured on a site. The biggest scam of them all, coming to a hotel or mall for a model search.
These scams are old and still exist. Please don’t get scammed. You can get into this business with very little money or no money.
What about schools and workshops?
Well these are great and it helps you to be on top with the latest fashion trends,walks,posing,etc..but is it necessary, no.
Do I recommend it? Yes, but only if the price is reasonable and you learn about auditioning, contracts,posing, terminology, etc..
In everything we want to do or master we should get trained. Some people get trained on the job and some people have to get trained before landing a job, just like vocational schools and college.
